Back in September, I had the absolute pleasure of being part of Nicole and James’s unforgettable wedding at the stunning Rochford Hotel, Essex, and what a memorable day it was!

I’m privileged to have DJ’d at this wonderful venue and am proud to recommend Rochford Hotel. This beautiful wedding hotel is situated in the picturesque Essex town of Rochford. The intimate venue is an ideal place to connect with loved ones and create lasting memories. I loved DJing there not only because of the lovely setting, but also because of the amazing team who work there.

As we all know, a brilliant team behind a wedding is crucial to ensure the day runs smoothly - and the team at Rochford did not disappoint.

The staff were warm, welcoming, and above all, professional. They ensured all suppliers were supported and helped everything run seamlessly. Knowing your venue team and suppliers are all on the same page gives you peace of mind, allowing you to relax and enjoy your day stress-free - exactly as Nicole and James were able to do.

This is one of my favourite venues to DJ at. The intimate event space at Rochford Hotel is the perfect setting to create a fantastic atmosphere with the right music and lighting. This ensured guests were eager to hit the dance floor and keep the energy high throughout the evening.

PLANNING THE PERFECT PARTY

I met Nicole and James back in July 2023, followed by a face-to-face Zoom call to plan their special day. From the moment we spoke, I knew this would be a fun, energy-filled celebration with plenty of dancing.

They didn’t want to worry about the playlist or leave music choices to guests. After discussing their preferences, themes, and favourite genres, I created a playlist fully personalised to their needs. The couple were full of ideas and loved my suggestions - from evening floor-fillers and final anthems to my recommendations for possible first dance songs. Whatever they needed, they were fully covered.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN MY DJ OFFER

Before the big day, I help couples plan all of the music they want to hear during their wedding. On the evening itself, I arrive at least an hour early to set up equipment and complete a full sound check.

I keep the dance floor alive using a blend of your chosen tracks, live guest requests, and songs I know will work well with the energy in the room. Weddings bring together guests of all ages, so it’s important to keep everyone happy. I usually start with modern pop, mix in classics from the 80s, 90s, and 00s, and gradually build into higher-energy club classics as the night goes on - all tailored to each couple’s preferences.
